Let’s Scare Mindy

This week, Mindy finds herself creeped out by regular ghost stories submitted by listeners Avy, Tim and Dan.

First, Ava tells of a farewell visit from her home’s former owner in his first tale. The second email Ava sent mentioned the haunted Psychic Hill area of Chesterfield, Virginia. She had read an article published in October 2005 in the Chesterfield Observer. Unfortunately, the story was not available, but Mindy did find one published two years later titled “Haunted Chesterfield” by Pamela K. Kinney. Ava also included links to two newsletters from the http://virginiaghosts.com/may_2005.pdf and http://virginiaghosts.com/november_2005.pdf.

Next, Tim tells two tales of ghosts in Galveston, Texas. His stories led Mindy to see what other haunts there were in the city, as it was nearly destroyed in a hurricane in 1900. On the Galveston Ghost web site, she found the story of the Ashton Villa Mansion and The Hotel Galvez.

Finally, Dan, host of the Cult Fiction podcast, submits and audio story his grandfather related to him about a ghostly experience.
